Your role: Making a difference with us.

This position is located in Bucharest, Romania.

Our team is responsible for the Tchibo App . Anyone interested can explore the app to get a glimpse of what we have accomplished so far. Our goal is to achieve a native app based on Flutter . Currently, we are using a webshop frontend where no native implementation is available.

Our team is about to expand, and we plan to split it into two squads :

• One squad will be responsible for the webshop and its maintenance .
• The other squad will focus on upcoming omnichannel topics – aiming to connect online and offline experiences .

As a Full Stack Developer (m/f/d) , you will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of the Tchibo App , working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless digital experiences for our customers. In detail you:

• Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using Flutter, Dart, Java/Kotlin and Spring Boot .
• Contribute to both frontend and backend development, ensuring smooth integration of components .
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers and product owners to implement user-centric features .
• Optimize application performance and scalability .
• Maintain and improve our CI/CD pipeline using Git, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Work in an Agile environment (Scrum, OKRs) and contribute to team discussions and planning.
• Ensure code quality and maintainability by following best practices such as MVVM .
• Troubleshoot, debug , and resolve software defects efficiently.
• Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with company standards .

Must-haves

• Strong experience with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) .
• Hands-on experience with Flutter and Dart .
• Knowledge of Java/Kotlin for backend development.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines , and Agile methodologies .
• Proficiency in Docker and Spring Boot .
• Understanding of MVVM architectural patterns.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment .

Nice-to-haves

• Domain knowledge of eCommerce and omnichannel experiences.
• Experience with Terraform, GCP , and Kubernetes .
• Familiarity with Secret Manager , OpsGenie , and GitLab .
• Understanding of stateless applications and cloud-native development .
• Exposure to Firebase, Fastlane, Bitrise , and deep linking .
• Knowledge of Emarsys for customer engagement solutions.
