Senior Software Engineer (FE/React)

Who are we looking for?

We’re seeking an experienced Frontend Developer specialized in React to design and build exceptional user interfaces, optimize user experiences, and ensure seamless integration with our backend and APIs.

Tasks

• Develop User-Centric Features: Engineer innovative features using React and Typescript, transforming designs and prototypes into efficient code structures.
• Maintain and Optimize Components: Ensure the efficiency and growth of our internal frontend libraries by creating, managing, and improving reusable components, with a focus on performance.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Proactively collaborate with Product, UX, and Backend teams to improve processes and workflows. Contribute to planning sessions and technical documentation.
• Mentor and Support Peers: Mentor and support other frontend developers by providing guidance and assisting with their technical growth. Also, help them onboard into our codebase and workflows.
• Engage in Knowledge Sharing: Participate in team knowledge-sharing efforts, including tech talks, workflow documentation, and exploring modern technologies. AI Mindset: Foster an "AI as a service" mindset, proactively supporting backend and product teams with innovative ideas and solutions.

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in Web Development with a strong emphasis on React and Typescript.
• Mastery of React.js and its core principles, along with proficiency in Typescript, Javascript, CSS, HTML, and essential frontend technologies.
• Proven experience in developing responsive, high-quality web applications.
• Hands-on experience with Tailwind CSS and component libraries (ideally Radix UI).
• Familiarity with build and development tools such as Vite.
• Experience with modern API communication methods, preferably Protocol Buffers.
• Knowledge of performance monitoring and analytics tools like Sentry and PostHog.
• Strong understanding of web performance optimization, UX/UI best practices, and accessibility standards.
• Familiarity with git-based code versioning and thorough review processes, including merge requests.
• Acquaintance with performance testing tools like Mocha and Jest.
• Capability to operate autonomously, address bugs, and innovate on existing features.
• Demonstrates a "get things done" mentality, with the ability to work independently, address bugs, and enhance existing features with innovative solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset, valuing feedback, shared responsibilities, and clear communication.
• Highly organized, articulate, and committed to deadlines, with fluency in written and spoken English.
• Eager to continuously improve and push projects forward, advocating for engineering best practices including clean coding, continuous refactoring, and automated testing.
