Key Account Manager (Europe) - DP World’s Shipping Solutions

On behalf of DP World's Marine Services, Shipping Solutions (formerly Unifeeder A/S), MARPRO Group is looking for a Key Account Manager (Europe), Feeder Network for the office in Hamburg, Germany. You will report to the Chief Commercial Officer.

The job

As Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing some of Shipping Solutions most important liner customers in Europe. These accounts represent a significant share of the company’s business and require a professional who combines strong commercial sales experience with solid industry knowledge from container liner shipping.

We are looking for a candidate who understands both sides of the role: how to build, grow, and retain strategic customer relationships, and how to navigate the realities of liner network dynamics.

In this role, you will act as a trusted commercial partner to the customer, leading service contract negotiations, identifying network and logistics solutions, uncovering growth opportunities, and ensuring high service levels and customer satisfaction while safeguarding profitability.

You will work closely with colleagues across Operations, Customer Excellence, Finance, and Commercial to ensure strong internal alignment and seamless delivery across the feeder network.

What we are looking for

We are specifically seeking a profile with a strong background in both:

• Sales and commercial account management experience, ideally from a Key Account Manager or similar customer-facing commercial role

• Container liner shipping experience, with hands-on understanding of liner operations and customer needs in this market

Professional qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies, Business Administration, or a related field

• Minimum 10 years’ experience within container shipping, feeder operations, or liner trade management

• Strong knowledge of feeder services and transshipment logistics

• Strategic mindset combined with operational understanding of vessels, cargo flows, vessel scheduling, and market dynamics

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills

• Fluency in English and preferably German (spoken and written)

• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics)
