We are now looking for a

Electrical Technical Designer (m/f/d)

to join our team working for a better future.

The preferred location for the position is in Hamburg, Germany.

What you will be doing

As Electrical Technical Designer your work will focus on these responsibilities:

• Creation of detailed engineering documents for purchasing, production, test field and customer (interconnection plans / circuit diagram / parts lists / materials / material data)
• Selecting or defining suitable materials
• Maintain material master data within our ERP-Tool
• Conducting non-conformity procedures within our ERP-Tool
• Verification and documentation of changes by following procedures within our ERP-Tool such as creating detailed change logs
• Supporting new designs by communicating and sketching ideas
• Supporting sales by creating technical drawing
• Ensure compliance with the technical specifications
• Ensure adherence to timelines and hour demands
• Ensure archive of technical drawings and software packages
• Direct communication with Product- and Project-Management
• Contribution to internal reporting

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

• Completed training as a state-certified electrical engineering technician or certified Bachelor electrical or equivalent.
• Knowledge in the design and construction of electrical cabinets
• Professional experience with common design tools, e.g. with electrical background with the E- Plan, SAP, N-Files, Solidworks or equivalent
• Personal initiative as well as independent and team-oriented working methods
• Positive communication behaviour
• Good technical knowledge in the application of classification requirements and industrial standards are needed
• MS office skills are required.
• For communication and documentation purposes, German and English technical language experience in speaking and writing is essential required.
• Experience in electrical design for military use or equivalent
