Static Engineer - Fuselage Primary Structure (d/f/m)

Join the Fuselage Structure Analysis team as a technical specialist in our newly integrated "One Fuselage" domain. As the Static Engineer for Primary Structure, you will be the custodian of product knowledge, performing the static analysis for critical fuselage components across legacy and future programs.

We are looking for a pioneering engineer with a strong team spirit to help us create the future of aerospace structural excellence.

This role is also available with reduced weekly hours and an adapted scope of tasks.

Your tasks and responsibilities

• Perform Technical Analysis : Perform comprehensive static evaluations of metallic, composite, and hybrid fuselage structures using analytical methods and Finite Element Analysis.
  
• Support Structural Testing : Analyze tests-from component level to full-scale-to validate calculation models with test data.
  
• Support Certification : Collaborate with Design and Fatigue & Damage Tolerance teams to ensure compliance with airworthiness standards.
  
• Support Fleet Solutions : Investigate structural failures to determine root causes and validate effective repair schemes.
  
• Technical Reporting : Present technical findings in project meetings, clarifying assumptions and interdependencies for stakeholders.
  
• Innovation : Stay at the forefront of industry advancements to improve internal analysis tools and methods.
  

In essence you deliver technical outputs for your project area on Time, Cost, and Quality. You provide technical expertise and contribute to the team's success.

Desired skills and qualifications

• You hold a Master’s degree or Diploma in Engineering (or equivalent).
  
• You have deep knowledge of Structural Analysis, specifically Static Analysis for Fuselage Primary Structure .
  
• You are proficient in using associated processes, methods, and tools.
  
• You enjoy working with many interfaces with different knowledge levels and cultural backgrounds adapting your communication accordingly
  
• You have a creative data-driven mindset and are motivated to improve the way we work and interact with the world around us (e.g. using AI and/or coding)
  
• You have the capabilities to interpret the environmental context and influence decision-making within the company
  
• Fluency in English is mandatory, German is appreciated.
