Meet Your Team: Anti-Fraud Solutions

Our Anti-Fraud Solutions team tackles one of adtech's biggest challenges: industry reports suggest 25% of global mobile ad spend is fraudulent. We've built sophisticated systems that actively prevent fraud from impacting our partners' business.

At the core of our solution are custom-built mobile SDKs for Android and iOS, which analyze device integrity and detect modifications like Xposed frameworks, Magisk modules or jailbroken devices. Our distributed cloud infrastructure powered by SQS and Kafka processes billions of daily events to flag suspicious behaviors in real time, while Go-based microservices deliver millisecond-level responses using DynamoDB as our database.

For developers interested in cheat prevention, this means working with cutting-edge tech to continuously outsmart even the most creative tactics.

What You Will Do:

• Contribute to the development of our anti-fraud backend written in Go and maintain our microservice architecture. To do this, you’ll use event buses like Kafka and SQS/SNS in order to have reliable asynchronous microservice communication.
• Provide technical leadership by mentoring backend engineers, fostering their growth, setting high engineering standards, and ensuring alignment across the team to drive innovation and deliver results.
• Work in a community of developers with whom you’ll share knowledge and contribute to peer code reviews.
• Work with modern databases such as DynamoDB to deliver few-millisecond response times.
• Continuously improve our fraud detection systems to stay on top of changes in the Android and iOS platforms.
• Take part in investigations of the most novel and uncommon fraud complaints from our advertisers and publishers and work with mobile developers to reproduce exploits and cheats
• Be responsible for collecting the billions of daily API events and aggregating them in our Kafka streams with the goal of querying them from the data lake in a matter of seconds.
• Be part of an international English-speaking team dedicated to scaling our adtech platform beyond our hundreds of millions of monthly active users.

Who You Are:

• You have gained several years of experience as a software architect/senior software developer
• You have outstanding experience with Go in a professional backend environment.
• You have a proven track record of leading engineering teams, including mentoring developers, setting technical direction, and aligning cross-functional teams toward shared goals.
• You have experience working in an event-driven environment using SQS/SNS, Kafka.
• You have extensive experience with large scale key-value databases such as DynamoDB, Cassandra or ScyllaDB.
• You thoroughly understand cloud infrastructures such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• You feel comfortable managing people and have previously worked in a leadership role in a fast-changing environment
• Plus: You have basic knowledge of mobile development (Android or iOS)
