As Global Procurement Manager (gn) - Ingredients , you take on a key role in our international procurement organization and actively shape our global supplier and category strategy for raw materials. You operate at the interface between global markets, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, ensuring that we are optimally positioned worldwide - economically, qualitatively, and strategically.

You combine strong analytical thinking with negotiation skills and a clear focus on identifying optimization potential. You proactively drive change, reduce complexity, and ensure that our supply chain remains stable and future-proof in a dynamic global market environment.
Your mission

• You own a global category of raw materials such as vitamins, minerals, amino acids, flavours, and sweeteners
• You analyze spend, cost drivers, market trends, and the global supplier landscape to derive and implement a sustainable sourcing strategy
• You build and develop strong relationships with existing and potential new international suppliers
• You segment and evaluate suppliers based on quality, service, and value, and conduct regular business reviews and executive meetings
• You identify and drive global cost-saving initiatives and deliver on productivity targets
• You analyze data to identify optimization opportunities, reduce complexity, and drive standardization and consolidation on a global level
• You collaborate closely with international internal stakeholders to ensure alignment between sourcing strategies, timelines, and business objectives
• You lead complex international tenders (RFX), drive negotiations, and manage contracts considering price, supply, service, legal, and IP risks
• You proactively identify risks, anticipate price developments, and ensure long-term supply security

Your experience & skills

• You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, supply chain, procurement, engineering, operations, or a comparable field
• You bring at least 3 years of experience in strategic sourcing, ideally in an international environment
• You have knowledge of relevant raw materials and ingredients
• You have experience in building and managing international supplier relationships
• You demonstrate the ability to lead and influence cross-functional and international teams
• You ideally have experience in the FMCG or food industry
• You communicate fluently in English and ideally also in German, both written and spoken
• You have strong analytical and structured working skills, combined with solid project management capabilities
