Senior Data Engineer (m/f/x)

What you can expect from us...

• Based on the Snowplow Analytics platform, we capture user interactions, process them in large-scale data pipelines, and make the data available to internal teams for analysis, personalization, and product Innovation
• Develop and operate our infrastructure for event tracking and analytics
• Design, implement, and optimize highly scalable ETL/ELT pipelines (batch and streaming)
• Build, deploy, and monitor data workflows leveraging modern cloud and opensource technologies
• Collaborate closely with data scientists, analysts, and product teams to Deliver high-quality data products
• Ensure the reliability, robustness, and cost-efficiency of our data platform

What we would expect from you...

• Several years of professional experience as a Data Engineer, ideally with a focus on infrastructure / data platforms
• Strong knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS) and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Experience with modern data warehouses and query engines (Snowflake, Trino/Presto, ClickHouse)
• Solid programming skills in Python and experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Tofu, Terragrunt)
• Expertise in large-scale data processing (batch & streaming) with Apache Spark and Apache Flink
• Hands-on experience with workflow orchestration (e.g. Airflow)
• Analytical mindset, collaborative spirit, and a passion for shaping a central data platform
