(Senior) Data Analyst (m/w/d) - Sales & Finance

Identify, analyze and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets to support strategic business decisions

Work closely with our Sales & Finance department and our data teams (Data Engineering, Data Science and Web Analytics) to shape Visable into a truly data-driven company

Design, build and maintain trusted data models using dbt, contributing to our single source of truth

Collaborate on data modeling, metric definitions and data quality initiatives to ensure reliable and scalable reporting

Replace manual reporting processes with automated, cloud-based data solutions and reusable analytics assets

Develop scalable dashboards, self-service reporting solutions and KPI frameworks using Tableau or similar BI tools

Proactively identify opportunities, generate actionable business insights and communicate recommendations to stakeholders across the organization

Act as a trusted analytics partner, supporting business teams with data-driven decision making and enabling power users through documentation and knowledge sharing

Evaluate and leverage AI-powered analytics capabilities, including LLM-based tools and modern analytics workflows, to improve efficiency and create business value

Contribute to improving our analytics practices, governance and development standards

Damit beeindruckst Du uns

Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics or a related field

Several years of experience as a Data Analyst, ideally within Sales, Finance or Commercial Analytics

Strong SQL skills and experience working with large-scale analytical databases and dimensional data models (Star/Snowflake schema)

Hands-on experience with dbt for data transformation, testing, documentation and version-controlled analytics development

Experience with modern cloud data platforms (e.g. BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift or Databricks) is highly desirable

Experience using Tableau or similar BI and visualization tools to build scalable reporting solutions

Good understanding of data modeling, data quality and analytics engineering best practices

Experience working with Git and collaborative development workflows.

Python or R experience for analysis and automation is a plus

Interest in AI-powered analytics, LLM applications or AI-enabled data products, with a willingness to explore and adopt emerging technologies

Strong analytical thinking, curiosity and the ability to translate business questions into scalable analytical solutions

Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex analytical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Proactive, collaborative and solution-oriented mindset with a passion for continuous learning

Business fluency in English is required
