Aufgaben

As a Fullstack React & Ruby on Rails Engineer (m/f/x) , you will actively shape and evolve our workforce management platform together with a small, experienced team based in Hamburg or remote.

You will:

• Take an active role in our Ember.js → React migration

(React, Tailwind, Tanstack-Router, Capacitor.js)

• Advance and maintain our Rails-based REST API

(Rails, MySQL, Redis, Memcached, RSpec, …)

• Design and implement new product features end to end
• Continuously evaluate, improve, and refactor existing code
• Contribute to architecture decisions and technical direction
• Be part of our agile planning and delivery process

Qualifikation

• Strong experience with React and modern frontend development (state management, component architecture, hooks, performance, e2e testing)
• Practical experience building production-grade React applications
• Solid understanding of modern frontend tooling and ecosystems (Tanstack-Router, Tailwind, Vite/Webpack, REST APIs, etc.)
• Professional experience with Ruby on Rails, including working on APIs and business logic (Rails, MySQL, Memcached, Redis, RSpec, GitHub, …,)
• Ability to design and implement complex features with non-trivial business requirements
• Comfortable working with remote and on-premise teams
• Native German speaker and fluent in English
• Enthusiasm for AI technologies and hands-on experience using AI-powered tools to improve development workflows
