Accounting Manager (m/f/d)

Our Accounting Team is part of the Finance function and is responsible for the accurate recording of all business transactions in accordance with HGB and IFRS. In doing so, it provides the foundation for reliable internal management as well as external financial reporting.

As an Accounting Manager (m/f/d) , you will take ownership of key processes across accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger accounting. You ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements while actively driving the further development and optimization of existing processes. You will work closely with our Accountants, who support you in day-to-day operations. You can expect a modern, process-driven accounting environment where digitalization, automation, and continuous improvement play a central role.

Responsibilities

• Own and continuously optimize key processes within accounts receivable and general ledger accounting
• Manage projects and interfaces related to our ERP and accounting systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O, SAP S/4HANA)
• Support the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (especially Controlling, Tax, and Internal Audit) as well as external auditors

Requirements

• Degree in Business Administration or a comparable qualification (e.g., certified accountant)
• Several years of professional experience in accounting, auditing, or tax advisory
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O
• High affinity for IT and very good MS Office skills
• Strong analytical mindset and enthusiasm for complex topics
• Independent, proactive working style combined with strong communication skills
