Region Ocean Product Manager

Please note the work location is flexible within EUR region

The Region O cean Product Manager (ROP) is a commercial expert responsible for the driving revenue from our Add-on, Surcharges and Value Added Service (VAS) in accordance with the global Surcharge Add-ons strategy, governance and framework. The ROP sets tariffs for local charges and add-ons with a view to maximize overall revenue for the company and is authority on making special deals on all surcharges & add-ons. The ROP is continuously ensuring a standardized and relevant local portfolio of charges for our customers and is always on the lookout for opportunities to optimize the local portfolio of surcharges and add-ons.

What you'll be doing

• Owns target setting and managing performance of the Surcharge & Add-ons portfolio
• Set market relevant tariffs to improve revenue for Surcharges and Add-ons
• Build strong product market knowledge and intelligence.
• Use customer insights in the improvement and/or development of new products and revenue streams.
• Analyze & follow up and address performance + compliance and application locally.
• Give input / feedback on global product portfolio and idea generation process.
• Continuously look for opportunities to improve local and global portfolio of surcharges and D&D charges.
• Owns exception management to the Surcharge & Add-on portfolio with the aim of reducing exceptions
• Ad hoc participation in strategic projects
• Ad-hoc participation on Area Leadership Meetings and strategic discussions needing input from the Surcharge and Add-on team
• Owns communication to the Areas on any changes and/or updates to the Surcharge & Addons portfolio
