Software Engineer (Full-Stack, Backend-Focused), 100% Remote

Tasks

• Build and evolve backend systems and APIs in Django
• Own architecture decisions: scalability, reliability, maintainability
• Implement and refine CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
• Apply clean code practices , design patterns, and strong system design principles. Refactor major parts of the codebase for better long-term maintainability using modern tools such as Claude Code
• Collaborate on frontend work in React (feature work, integration, performance, DX)
• Use and improve AI-assisted development workflows (e.g., faster iteration, better quality, automation)

Requirements

• Strong experience in full-stack development , with a backend focus
• Solid knowledge of architecture , design patterns , and clean-code practices
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD (build pipelines, testing, deployments, release processes)
• Heavy testing and QA practices
• Comfort working across the stack: React + Django
• Familiarity with modern development workflows and tooling, including AI-assisted development
• Bonus: exposure to (or curiosity for) Go and/or Rust as we expand parts of the system
