The employer is a leading competence centre for high‑strength steel processing in the Hamburg area. With more than 50 years of experience, we specialise in the production of vehicle hulls and load‑bearing structures from alloyed special steels, using state‑of‑the‑art testing facilities to guarantee top‑class welding quality.

What You’ll Do

• Plan tasks based on technical drawings and specifications.
• Manufacture components, assemblies and metal constructions from sheets, tubes and profiles using both manual and machine‑based processes.
• Fabricate, assemble and disassemble steel parts.
• Apply various joining techniques while assembling and dismantling metal structures.
• Create auxiliary fixtures, jigs, templates and unwindings to support production.

What We Expect From You

• Completed apprenticeship as a Construction Mechanic (m/w/d) with a focus on welding technology, or an equivalent qualification.
• Relevant professional experience in MAG welding and multi‑pass groove welds.
• Familiarity with the base material group 3 according to CR ISO 15608 and welding processes according to DIN EN ISO standards.
• Crane licence is a plus.
• Willingness to work in rotating shifts (early and late).
• Self‑directed, structured and responsible work style.
• Flexibility, strong team spirit and high performance orientation.
• Reliability, precision and careful handling of tasks.
• Good command of German, both spoken and written.

The position is based at our modern plant in Hamburg. You will be part of a skilled team operating in a shift system (early and late shifts) that ensures continuous production while maintaining a safe and collaborative environment.
