We’re hiring a talented IMS Software Architect (m/f/d) to lead the design and evolution of our IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem) solution. As an IMS Software Architect (m/f/d), you will define and drive the architecture of next-generation IMS components, ensuring scalability, reliability, and alignment with 3GPP standards. You will collaborate closely with product, R&D teams, and cross-functional groups to deliver future-proof telecom solutions.

Tasks

What you will do

• Provide architectural guidance on cloud-native network functions (CNF).
• Partner with development teams to ensure architectural compliance and best practices.
• Implement complex requirements in an easy and effective manner using C/Go/Python languages.
• Define performance, scalability, and resiliency targets for IMS components.
• Define end-to-end architecture for new IMS core components (e.g., P-CSCF, I-CSCF, S-CSCF, BGCF, HSS/UDM, TAS).
• Ensure alignment with 3GPP and ETSI standards for IMS and VoLTE/ VoNR solutions.
• Design scalable, cloud-native, microservices-based IMS components .
• Work with product management to translate business requirements into architectural blueprints.
• Prepare high-level and low-level design documents, architecture diagrams, and interface specifications.

Requirements

Our ideal new colleague

• Ex tensive experience designing IMS network elements and understanding of IMS call flows
• Strong knowledge of SIP, Diameter, RTP, and other telecom protocols.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures, containerization, and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of VoLTE, VoWiFi, and 5G voice solutions ( VoNR ).
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
• Experience with Kamailio , FreeDiameter , or similar open-source telecom frameworks.
