WHO WE ARE

Every day we inhale and exhale around 20.000 times, while our air becomes more and more polluted. Air pollution kills more than 7 million people per year. Yet, we are missing crucial data to develop strategies how to curb emissions. We at Breeze Technologies fight every day to create more sustainable cities for a cleaner tomorrow. Breeze Technologies is a leading startup in the field of air quality sensors, air quality data and clean air action analytics. We support cities, businesses and NGOs to monitor hyperlocal air quality and design more efficient clean air action plans with Artificial Intelligence and the Internet of Things. Our startup develops its own hardware – our air quality sensors – and software – our Environmental Intelligence Cloud – at our headquarters in Hamburg, Germany. Both enable our customers to generate local air quality insights and create a healthier environment. Breeze was founded in 2015 and has since scaled to a customer base in 11 countries as well as international partnerships, for instance with Microsoft and the US Homeland Security. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a Founder’s Associate (m/f/d) for an paid full-time internship for 6-12 months. In special cases, a working student position (20 hours per week) might also be possible. You think and act like a founder yourself. You work directly with our founder and CEO Robert. The role gives you a comprehensive insight into every area of our startup – from HR and operations, over business development/sales and finance, to marketing/PR and product development. As our startup grows, your responsibilties can evolve to include other areas and/or shift in focus to build on your strengths. This is your chance to be part of a visionary journey and stand at the forefront of the global fight against air pollution. What you need to succeed: You deeply care about our environment You are available for 6+ months You are enrolled (or in a gap year) in a Bachelor, Master or PhD-Program You have prior experience in fast-paced environments, e.g. high-growth startups, venture capital, private equity firms, investment banking, management consulting or tech companies You show entrepreneurial skills with attention to detail You have a high level of agency and ownership You have outstanding verbal and written communication skills You are curious with a hunger to learn You are fluent in German and English You would like to work on-site in our office in Hamburg, Germany, and be willing to travel with our founder to international events

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

You think and act like a founder: You will get responsibility from day one for a variety of operational and strategic initiatives. You act as an in-house consultant and work directly with our company’s founder to uncover needs and bottlenecks. All projects will have a critical impact on our startup and directly relate to our mission of creating more livable cities and improving air quality. Enable company growth: From scouting top talent for our growing team, over creating presentations and proposals for potential customers, to organizing our company’s participation in events, your work will be mission-critical for the future growth of Breeze Technologies. Be our founder’s shadow: Whatever our CEO is working on, you will be working on as well. You’ll have Robert’s back and support him in everything that he is working on. In exchange, you will get unique insights into what it takes to build and grow a deeptech social-impact company on an international level. Depending on your preferences and performance, your responsibilities and role will be evolving over time with the growth of Breeze Technologies as a successful social impact startup. With your entry as a Founder’s Associate, you are perfectly positioned for a later candidacy for a full-time or part-time position at Breeze Technologies, also for leadership positions.
