• Manage the performance and improvement monitoring of physical logistics management while ensuring adherence to corporate logistics solutions, processes, rules, and policies.
• Develop and oversee KPIs addressing performance, cost, quality, and environmental impact in logistics activities.
• Drive problem resolution with a quick and effective alert and escalation process.
• Propose and champion local improvement initiatives and foster knowledge exchange within the logistics service management network.
• Participate in optimizing end-to-end logistics solutions and spatial planning.
• Develop and deploy work methods and provide training to support contractual management operations.
• Ensure proper resource allocation, from standard distribution tools to complex logistics infrastructures.
• Calculate and monitor logistics budgets in collaboration with financial departments.
• Ensure risk management with internal stakeholders and logistics service providers, conducting root cause analyses and establishing mitigation plans.
• Facilitate harmonized and agile contract management to deliver timely, high-quality, and cost-effective logistics services.

We are searching for an adaptable and motivated professional who brings a blend of strong organizational skills and technical expertise to the Logistics Service Manager (d/m/w) role in Hamburg. To achieve success in this role, you should have:

• A degree or equivalent qualification in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management/Logistics, or any related field (minimum technician or specialist level required).
• At least 2 years of professional experience in supply chain management and logistics operations.
• Experience in supplier and contract management is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in SAP and familiarity with Google Workspace.
• Strong fluency in both German and English, with negotiation-level proficiency in both languages.
• Resilience, organizational talent, and a high sense of responsibility.
• Effective communication skills to maintain and streamline information flow within teams and stakeholders.
• Flexibility to work in a two-shift system when required.
• A proactive mindset with the ability to integrate within a team and collaborate seamlessly with colleagues and stakeholders.
