Jung von Matt HAMBURG is looking for a Social Media Director (d/f/m).

Your task

• Development of holistic social media strategies for national and international clients.
• Responsibility for the creative and strategic quality of all social media activities.
• Proactive consulting of clients on trends, platforms, innovations, and new opportunities in social media.
• Conceptualization, planning, and implementation of platform-specific content formats.
• Analysis of relevant performance metrics and derivation of optimization measures.
• Development of channel- and audience-specific publishing and community management approaches.
• Responsibility for timing, resources, and quality of ongoing social projects.
• Identification of new business opportunities and support during pitches and presentations.
• Monitoring market, competitor, and cultural developments and translating them into relevant communication approaches.

• You have excellent knowledge of all relevant social media platforms and their mechanics.
• You develop cross-channel social media strategies with strong brand and audience relevance.
• You have a deep understanding of digital trends, platform features, creator culture, and community dynamics.
• You are able to analyze, interpret, and optimize social content based on data.
• You are experienced in planning and managing paid, owned, and earned social activities.Â
• You present strategic and creative ideas convincingly to clients and internal teams.
• You have experience managing content productions, creators, and external partners.
• You understand the interaction between social media, brand management, campaigns, and performance marketing.
• You lead teams confidently and in a motivating way.
• You work confidently with relevant analytics, publishing, and social listening tools.
• You are fluent in German and English.
