This position is located in Bucharest, Romania.

As a WebShop Technical Lead (m/f/d) in our Bucharest office, you’ll be an integral part of the Tchibo eCommerce DNA , where the customer is always at the center . Join a cross-functional, agile , and innovative team supporting the entire customer journey across the Tchibo eCommerce platform.

In detail:

• Technical Leadership: Take ownership of technical requirements, ensuring high-quality implementation while leading and mentoring the development team.
• Agile Collaboration: Shape the agile software development process and actively participate in backlog refinement and sprint planning.
• End-to-End Development: Work on a holistic technology stack, including Vue.js frontend, Java/Kotlin backend, and MS SQL databases, along with cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
• Architecture & Design: Continuously evaluate and develop the WebShop’s architecture and align it with technical and business goals.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Represent the development team in meetings with stakeholders, track progress, and align the product roadmap with the Business Product Owner.
• Code Excellence: Write clean, high-quality code, maintain best practices, and ensure application performance and security through TDD, pair programming, and code reviews.
• Innovation Time: Dedicate creative time to projects that interest you during each iteration.

Your profile: You keep reinventing us.

Required Qualifications:

• A degree in computer science, business informatics , or equivalent.
• 6+ years of practical experience in software development/architecture.
• Proficiency in Kotlin, Java, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD automation , object relational databases and SQL scripts.
• Strong knowledge of web development and willingness to own and operate microservices.
• A team player (m/f/d) who thrives in agile environments (SCRUM/KANBAN).
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Nice to have:

• Experience with Vue.js 3 and Nuxt 3/Vite .
• Knowledge of microservice architecture, cloud development (preferably on GCP), and tools like Terraform, Kubernetes, and GKE.
