Verkaufsausbildung (m/w/d)

Join the two‑year apprenticeship as a Verkäufer (m/w/d) in retail – a pathway that also welcomes candidates aiming for the three‑year Kaufmann/Kauffrau im Einzelhandel qualification. You will learn the complete retail process, from ordering and receiving goods to presentation, storage, sales, and promotional activities.

What You’ll Do

• Receive and check incoming merchandise deliveries.
• Stock shelves and create attractive product displays.
• Conduct freshness checks in the fruit‑ and vegetable department.
• Ensure continuous availability of bakery items.
• Operate the cash register and handle transaction settlements.
• Maintain order and cleanliness throughout the store.

What We’re Looking For

• School qualification (qualified secondary school certificate or intermediate school leaving certificate).
• Enthusiasm for food and consumer goods.
• Motivation, initiative and reliability.
• Basic numeracy and computer skills.
• Team spirit and enjoyment of customer contact.
• Good German language skills (minimum level B1) to ensure smooth communication with customers.

Working Conditions

• Weekly working time: 37–39 hours , including vocational school attendance.
• Vocational school is located near your place of residence.
• Apprenticeship duration: 2 years (or 3 years for the Kaufmann/Kauffrau pathway).
