We help mobile game publishers not only acquire new users, but also keep players engaged through rewarding experiences. That means distributed systems, evolving architectures, and problems that don’t have textbook answers.

As a DevOps Engineer (f/m/x), you will own the design, implementation, and evolution of our cloud platform, troubleshoot complex systems, and drive platform reliability while improving developer experience.If you’re excited by complex systems, high traffic, data-driven decisions, and the chance to grow by solving challenging problems, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Own

• Cloud platform & infrastructure
  You design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and cost-effective AWS infrastructure across multiple accounts and regions using Terraform and other modern infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Kubernetes & CI/CD
  You manage production workloads on EKS, design and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI or ArgoCD, and ensure day-2 operations run smoothly while prioritizing developer experience.
• Reliability & observability
  You troubleshoot complex issues across distributed systems, apply SRE principles, and use observability tools such as Prometheus, Loki, Datadog, and OpenTelemetry to maintain system health, SLIs/SLOs, and actionable alerting.
• Automation & platform improvement
  You continuously improve operational workflows, developer tooling, and automation to reduce friction, enable faster shipping, and support high-quality deployments across the organization.
• Collaboration & knowledge sharing
  You partner with engineers, stakeholders, and fellow DevOps teammates to evolve the platform, elevate the team’s skill set, and introduce better ways of thinking and working.

What You Bring

• Experience in DevOps and platform engineering
  You have 3-5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering roles, building scalable cloud platforms and enabling high-performing engineering teams.
• AWS expertise
  You are confident working with AWS at scale, including IAM, networking, and security best practices, and you know how to balance cost, performance, and simplicity for the business.
• Infrastructure as code & automation
  You are fluent in Terraform (or OpenTofu) and use it to build clean, modular, and scalable infrastructure. You are proficient in Python, Go, or Bash for automation, tooling, and workflow optimization.
• Kubernetes & CI/CD
  You have solid experience managing Kubernetes (EKS) in production, with expertise in workload security, CI/CD patterns, and day-2 operations. You build and maintain modern pipelines that make shipping fast, safe, and reliable.
• Observability & reliability
  You use tools such as Prometheus, Loki, OpenTelemetry, or Datadog to monitor systems, debug issues, and ensure SLOs/SLIs are met. You stay calm during incidents, troubleshoot effectively, and know when to roll back or escalate.
• Collaboration & continuous improvement
  You communicate clearly, document thoroughly, and support your decisions with reasoning. You are curious, proactive, and continuously improve the platform and team knowledge.

Please note: this is not a remote only position, we offer you a flexible hybrid model here in Hamburg, Germany - working from home on Mondays & Fridays, coming to the office on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday!
