Senior Vice President, Customer Project Execution, NCE

Senior Management | Full-Time | Commercial

The head of the region works in close collaboration with global CPX to ensure alignment on strategy, governance, and operational standards acting as interface between regional execution and global direction for the integration between regional priorities and global objectives.


The role will empower and guide a team of functions ensuring the comprehensive execution of all projects in NCE for our Onshore operations. The FOI for 2026 is 5,4 Bn Eur with GW of 3,8 and TOR 4,2 BnEur with about 10% growth over the coming years. The Onshore team includes around 650 employees, spanning a variety of roles from both office and field positions, with leadership being an essential asset and foundational skill.


The role reports to the EVP of the region NCE and plays a vital role in the NCE Leadership Team.


Responsibilities


P&L Accountability

• Full responsibility for the financial performance ensuring delivery against set budget and targets.
• Drive strategic initiatives to optimize profitability and operational efficiency across the project execution.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial governance processes to maintain compliance.

Leadership

• Provide visionary leadership to a regional, cross-functional organization, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvements.
• Develop and execute strategies that enable organizational growth, capability development, and operational excellence.
• Inspire and influence stakeholders, ensuring alignment between the global framework and regional execution.
• Build and maintain high-performing teams through talent development and succession planning.
• Act as a role model for Vestas' values, driving engagement by leading through intent.

Competencies

• Leadership Experience : Demonstrated strong leadership capabilities with a proven track record of at least 10 years in a senior role within a large, complex organization. Delivering full P&L accountability to achieve sustainable business growth and operational excellence with extensive experience in driving strategic initiatives and leading cross-functional teams.
• Project Execution Knowledge: Deep understanding of end-to-end project execution processes, including planning,
• resource management, and portfolio oversight, with the ability to influence and drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of HSE requirements, quality standards, and financial governance, applied in complex operational environments.
• Excellent stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to build relationships and shape outcomes positively.
• Experience in building and enhancing a high‑performing leadership team, fostering capability and continuous improvement.
