Are you passionate about turning complex energy products into clear, sellable, and commercially sound offerings? Join suena energy as a Product Manager (f/m/x) and take full ownership of one of our core products - from value proposition and pricing to go-to-market and performance monitoring.

suena energy is a green tech startup specializing in algorithmic energy trading for energy storage systems and renewable energies.
Our vision: a world where clean energy is used reliably, economically, and intelligently. With our AI-based optimization and trading software, we maximize the revenues of operators of large-scale energy storage and renewable assets on short-term electricity and balancing markets - while minimizing their risks.

We're a team of more than 50 people, combining a warm, supportive team culture with true startup drive. Following our successful Series A, we're expanding our product team - and looking for a product-minded industry expert who can translate market dynamics, customer needs and technical requirements into scalable products that drive real impact in the energy market.

Your mission

• Take ownership of a product area and translate market, customer and internal requirements into clear product priorities and actionable development inputs.
• Coordinate across teams to improve existing products by aligning commercial models, technical requirements, market needs, and product documentation.
• Monitor developments in the German energy market – including regulatory changes, industry trends, and customer expectations – and turn them into relevant product improvements.
• Drive the preparation of product inputs such as requirements, descriptions, business context, and prioritization criteria so that ideas can move efficiently into execution.
• Act as a central interface between stakeholders, ensuring that Data Science, Operations, Trading, Commercial and Product work toward a shared product outcome.

Your profile

• You bring experience in product-related, consulting, trading or energy-market-focused roles , ideally in a context where technical and commercial topics come together.
• You have a strong understanding of energy markets, renewables, storage or energy trading-related topics and feel comfortable navigating complex industry dynamics.
• You are able to structure ambiguity , connect input from different stakeholders, and turn it into clear recommendations and product requirements.
• You combine a strategic mindset with hands-on execution and can balance market perspective, business needs and technical feasibility .
• You communicate confidently with different audiences and enjoy working in a highly cross-functional environment.
• You are fluent in German and English .
• Experience with algorithmic trading, BESS, regulatory market topics or commercial energy products is a strong plus.
