We are currently seeking experienced

Telecom Technicians (m/f/d)

to support an offshore wind project starting from 09 June 2026 . This freelance position is offshore-based and follows a 14/14 rotation schedule , with accommodation provided on the offshore installation during offshore rotations.

We are looking for two Telecom Technicians per rotation to support daily offshore operations and commissioning activities.

As part of your role, you will be entrusted with the following responsibilities:



• Support offshore telecom and communication system installation, maintenance and troubleshooting activities
• Perform signal verification and validation of dry contact signals
• Assist with pulling, adapting and terminating special cabling, including Ethernet, coaxial and power cables
• Support testing and commissioning of communication systems, including fiber optic and RS485-based systems
• Install and maintain telecom equipment such as speakers, cameras, outlets and communication devices
• Carry out inspections, reporting and documentation of completed work and identified findings
• Support network connectivity checks, terminal access and basic IP network troubleshooting
• Assist with connectorization, branch testing and other telecom-related mechanical tasks

• Completed technical education in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Communication Technology or a comparable technical discipline
• Initial to several years of experience within telecom systems, communication systems, offshore installations or commissioning activities
• Experience with one or more of the following:
  • Ethernet certification and testing tools
  • Signal verification and dry contact testing
  • Special cable installation and adaptation
  • Radio communication systems
  • IP networking and connectivity troubleshooting
  • Fiber optic and RS485 communication systems
  • Equipment installation and commissioning
• Good English communication skills, both written and spoken
• Ability to work independently in an offshore environment and deliver clear technical reporting
• Team-oriented, flexible and willing to adapt to changing project requirements

Requirements & Compensation

Minimum required certificates:

• EuP (Electrically Instructed Person)
• HUET including CA-EBS (Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System)
• First Aid Certificate
• Valid Offshore Medical Certificate (AWMF SK2, NOGEPA, OGUK/OEUK or equivalent)
• Fire Fighting Certificate
• Sea Survival Certificate

Compensation:

• Day Rate (all-in) under freelance contract: To Be Negotiated

Contract duration:

• Offshore rotations on a 14/14 schedule starting from 09 June 2026
• Potential for continued deployment depending on project requirements
