Country Manager, Germany – Drive Commercial Growth Across DACH and Beyond

The Opportunity
We are hiring a commercially driven, high-impact Country Manager for Germany—a leader who can win business, grow revenue, open channels, and expand market share quickly.
This is not a maintenance role. It’s a growth engine role.
You will be the face of Life Scientific in Germany, responsible for building our commercial footprint from the ground up-leading sales strategy, securing distribution partnerships, accelerating product uptake, and ensuring farmers and retailers know the value of our portfolio. You’ll also look beyond Germany, identifying opportunities across DACH and adjacent European markets.
We need someone who loves selling, thrives in fast-moving environments, and brings the relationships, credibility, and hustle to unlock new revenue streams.
What You Will Lead
Commercial & Sales Leadership
- Own the commercial strategy, sales pipeline, and revenue delivery for Germany.
- Build and execute a go-to-market plan that accelerates product penetration across all major agricultural regions.
- Drive new customer acquisition, deepening relationships with distributors, retailers, co-ops, wholesalers, and key influencers in German agriculture.
- Build and lead a high-performing sales organisation, ensuring strong customer coverage and continuous pipeline growth.
Business Development & Market Expansion
- Identify new channels, partnerships, and commercial opportunities to drive rapid market share growth.
- Leverage your network to secure strategic distribution agreements and expand our reach into high-value farming regions.
- Explore expansion routes across the DACH region, identifying scalable opportunities.
Market Intelligence & Competitor Insight
- Track competitor activity and market trends, using insights to position Life Scientific as the intelligent alternative to incumbents.
- Identify gaps in the market, turning insights into targeted sales strategies.
Stakeholder & Partnership Management
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with distributors, key accounts, agronomists, industry groups, and farming associations.
- Be a trusted voice for German customers within the Life Scientific global organisation.
Commercial Operations & P&L Ownership
- Take full ownership of the P&L, ensuring profitable, sustainable growth.
- Lead demand forecasting, budgeting, and commercial planning with accuracy and rigour.
Regulatory & Product Enablement
- Collaborate closely with regulatory, portfolio, and supply teams to ensure smooth market access and product availability.
- Translate regulatory milestones into clear commercial launch and activation plans.
What You Bring
- Proven commercial leadership in crop protection, agrochemicals, or broader agricultural markets within Germany.
- A strong network across German distributors, co-ops, retailers, agronomists, and industry influencers.
- A track record of delivering sales growth, opening new markets, and winning business in competitive environments.
- Commercial instincts with a strategic mindset-able to both roll up your sleeves and think long-term.
- Experience managing P&Ls, forecasts, and commercial teams.
- Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
- Entrepreneurial, proactive, results-driven.
- Fluent in German and English.
- Degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Business or related field.
