**JOB PURPOSE** The Senior Key Account Manager for Personal Care / Beauty & Wellbeing is responsible for driving sustainable growth and profitability across key retail partners by shaping and executing customer‑centric strategies. In this role, you act as the primary business owner for your accounts, leading annual negotiations, developing joint business plans, and translating market, shopper, and customer insights into actionable opportunities. You collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams—Marketing, Customer Strategy & Planning, Supply Chain, and Business Operations—to ensure flawless execution, long‑term partnership development, and the delivery of strategic channel objectives. This position requires a strong commercial mindset, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels while representing Unilever in the dynamic FMCG landscape. We invite you to be part of something bigger. **Contract Type**: Full-time, Fixed-Term (18 months) **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** * End‑to‑end customer management and full responsibility for the customer P&L * Co‑creation of national business plans by integrating customer needs in close collaboration with Marketing and Customer Strategy & Planning (CSP) * Preparation and execution of the annual customer strategy planning with CSP and the Head of Sales * Independent preparation and execution of annual customer negotiations and in‑year commercial discussions * Build strong, trusted customer relationships and drive both operational excellence and strategic collaboration * Manage multiple internal and external stakeholders effectively to deliver customer plans * Lead forecasting discussions and provide clear commercial storylines based on customer, market and category insights * Development and implementation of overarching customer‑specific strategies and sales concepts from a centralized perspective * Creation of calculations and commercial offers; identification of opportunities to improve revenue and profitability (NRM initiatives) * Development, negotiation, and implementation of all promotional & assortment activities in collaboration with CSP, Shopper Marketing, and Digital Media & Commerce, including performance tracking **REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS** * Completed university degree in Marketing or Business Administration * 5+ years of experience in Sales / Key Account Management * Strong FMCG experience is required * Proven experience in strategic customer management, including negotiation responsibility * Strong knowledge of the market, retail, and competitive landscape * Fluent German and English skills * Very good MS Office skills **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** * Flexibility, agility, and an independent, structured way of working are essential * Strong team spirit and a high level of empathy * Strong communication skills and the ability to inspire people * Excellent negotiation and closing skills * GAP “Kompletter Verhandler” and GS1 Category Management certification desirable * Ideally experience in personal care / beauty / drugstore-related categories **WHAT WE OFFER YOU:** * 38-hour work week with flexible hours and the option for remote work * 30 days of vacation plus December 24th and 31st off * **Meal allowance:** €65 per month * **In-house café:** snacks, lunch, and coffee specialties at discounted prices * **Discounts** via Corporate Benefits * **Deutschland Ticket:** €50 monthly subsidy or a discounted company bike * Free training opportunities and access to our own learning platform * **E-GYM/Wellpass** for €20 per month & free corporate health management & a 24/7 counseling service * And the best for last – **unlimited ice cream!** Unilever is an organisation committed to equity, inclusion and diversity to drive our business results and create a better future, every day, for our diverse employees, global consumers, partners, and communities.
