Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) (m/f/d)
About Fanblast
Fanblast is a mobile CRM tool for creators , rethinking communication through WhatsApp & iMessage. We help talent build authentic fan relationships, monetize their reach, and accelerate their growth.
Unlike algorithm-driven social platforms, Fanblast gives creators a direct line to their fans — turning attention into sustainable income through real conversations, exclusive drops, and community-driven engagement.
Fanblast is growing fast, and we’re hiring our first Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to shape the brand, own our voice, and lead the marketing engine that drives creator adoption and fan engagement at scale.
Tasks
About the Role
As our first CMO, you’ll join the leadership team to build Fanblast’s marketing function from the ground up. This is a broad, executive role with touchpoints across every outward-facing function — from brand and social to sales enablement, events, partnerships, and performance marketing.
You’ll be the architect of Fanblast’s voice in the creator economy — shaping how creators, fans, and partners see and experience our product — while scaling a marketing organization that blends cultural storytelling with data-driven growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute Fanblast’s end-to-end marketing strategy — spanning brand, growth, sales enablement, and communications — to drive creator adoption, engagement, monetization, and awareness.
- Oversee all marketing functions — brand/creative, social media, content, events, performance marketing, and partnerships — ensuring consistency and impact across every channel.
- Shape and protect the Fanblast brand identity — defining the storytelling, design, and tone of voice that position Fanblast as the go-to tool for creators building deeper fan relationships.
- Lead creator acquisition and growth campaigns across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, search, and emerging platforms — blending cultural storytelling with performance marketing.
- Partner cross-functionally with sales, product, and creator success teams to design creator-centric growth loops (referrals, collabs, community-led launches) and align marketing with company goals.
- Build, lead, and scale a high-performing marketing team — while managing external agencies and fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and results.
- Define, track, and optimize key marketing KPIs — including creator sign-ups, retention, engagement, revenue, and LTV/CAC — using insights to refine strategy.
- Act as a thought leader in the creator economy — keeping Fanblast ahead of cultural and digital trends, and strengthening its presence with creators, partners, and industry stakeholders.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of marketing leadership experience, ideally with time in the creator economy, influencer platforms, or consumer social apps.
- Proven track record of building and scaling marketing functions and brands in high-growth environments.
- Experience leading both brand storytelling and performance marketing — able to switch between creative vision and data-driven execution.
- Deep fluency in how creators and fans use social platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Snap, Discord, etc.).
- Strong leadership skills — capable of building, mentoring, and inspiring teams.
- Comfort managing agencies, partners, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Bonus: a strong network in the creator or influencer ecosystem.
Benefits
Why Join Us?
- We offer top-of-market compensation and meaningful equity — because we want leaders who think and act like owners.
- You’ll be part of the executive team, shaping not just marketing but the overall direction of the company.
- You’ll work with top creators, helping them transform how they connect and monetize.
- Fanblast is at the center of the creator economy boom — a $250B+ market that’s reshaping culture.
- We’re a startup with momentum: lean, ambitious, and ready to scale.
