Senior App Engineer - Discovery & Consideration (all genders)

Job Description

• Implement new features in our App version using Dart and Flutter to reach the highest performance standards
• Work closely together with other experienced developers, product managers, QA, and designers to ship new components and features
• Work on the implementation of high-leverage features to optimize UI/UX and conversion rates
• Have a direct impact on team processes by regular agile retrospectives teams, and other stakeholders to define acceptance criteria and ensure feature acceptance based on requirements

Qualifications

• 4+ years of programming experience , at least a year of App development experience
• Extensive experience in frontend development , ideally across multiple frameworks
• Extensive experience in Flutter
• Strong expertise in UI development and building complex frontend logic
• Deep understanding of building complex frontend logic
• You write well-structured, efficient and maintainable code and actively keep the quality of the code base in check
• You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• You are used to working in an English speaking environment
• Excellent problem-solving : You can solve conceptual, non-standard problems and exercise solid judgment based on analysing multiple sources of information
• High autonomy and ownership : You are motivated, take matters into your own hands , and can implement a complex feature with little oversight
• Strong communicator : You can communicate transparently, honestly, and effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Team player : You actively share knowledge , inspire other team members, and aim to fulfill team goals

 

Nice to Have

• Design awareness and ability to collaborate closely with designers 
• Familiarity with gRPC and Go in a shop backend environment
• Expertise in UI and Animation development
