Data & Analytics Lead (m/f/d) - Reporting directly to the CEO. Hamburg. Full-time.

Your mission

Platoon Aviation operates twelve business jets and is growing fast. We are not a corporation and we will not become one. We decide quickly and we execute.

In a first proof of concept we showed what is possible with our data. Now we are building it for real, from the ground up. No system is set, no architecture is locked in, nothing runs in production yet. That is exactly the opportunity: you decide how it is built, and the result is yours. That is the person we are looking for.

You own your data end to end and report directly to the CEO. You build our data platform and turn data from LEON, DATEV, Avinode and CAMP into a basis for decisions. For leadership. For sales. For operations. Your goal is the next level: predictive analytics and predictive maintenance.

This is not a reporting job. You decide which questions matter and you answer them before anyone asks.

What you do

• You build our data platform: automated, stable, production-ready.
• You give the CEO a clear basis for decisions. Direct, no detours.
• You give sales the KPIs to sell sharper and price better.
• You make operating costs visible: fleet utilization, ferry flights, AOG, margin per flight and per client.
• You lay the groundwork for predictive maintenance and positional optimization.
• You spot problems yourself and solve them. You do not wait for a briefing.

Your profile

• You bring enough technical depth to build yourself: SQL, Python and experience with a modern data stack. We are not looking for someone who only draws up concepts.
• Business sense over tool knowledge. You understand what a number is for and what decision it should drive.
• Entrepreneurial thinking. You ask about cost, margin and impact, not about who is responsible.
• Curiosity for our business. If you dig into the problems of business aviation, you will fit in.
• The drive to do it better than yesterday. The status quo bores you.
• Three or more years of professional experience in aviation or a comparable industry is mandatory.
• You have an unrestricted right to work in the EU.

In 2026 Platoon is operating 12 identical PC-24, which operate on a floating fleet model across Europe (i.e. the aircraft have no fixed home base). The PC-24 offers an unparalleled level of comfort for our passengers, coupled with exceptional performance capabilities and better luggage capacity.

Operating on an ad hoc basis, Platoon does not offer a scheduled service but according to market trends and individual demand from clients. Platoon operates in a B2B style model, which means we work principally with brokers across the world, and this has enabled us to already become a recognized brand and airline on the market due to the higher volume of flights we are able to operate.
