(Senior) Economy Designer - Rewarded Ads (f/m/x)

Your mission

As a Senior Economy Designer, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and balancing the economy of our rewarded ad platforms. You will ensure that rewards, incentives, and progression are aligned with our business goals. You will be part of the live operations team and collaborate with data and product teams to maintain a sustainably scalable platform.

Your key responsibilities:

• Design and continuously balance a hybrid economy combining:
  • Real cash rewards
  • Virtual currencies
  • Meta-progression systems (e.g. streaks, boosters, luck-based mechanics)
• Model money in / money out, sinks, sources, inflation, and deflation.
• Design reward loops that drive:
  • Retention and habit formation
  • Engagement outside of core advertiser offers
  • Sustainable payout costs
• Define and tune reward mechanics such as:
  • Daily / weekly streaks
  • Reward boosters (time-based, conditional, etc.)
  • Randomized reward mechanics (e.g. slot machine–style systems)
• Work closely with Product, Data, and Engineering to:
  • Translate economy concepts into implementable systems
  • Run simulations, A/B tests, and live balancing
• Monitor live economy KPIs and proactively adjust:
  • Payout ratios
  • Reward availability
  • Progression curves
• Document economy logic clearly for internal teams.

Your profile

• 5+ years of experience in game economy design, live operations or monetization in free-to-play mobile games.
• Strong analytical, mathematical and data-driven mindset.
• Experience designing balanced, sustainable and scalable in-game economies.
• Deep understanding of player behavior, rewards systems and progression mechanics.
• Skilled in communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience with predictive analytics, machine learning applications and A/B testing is highly desirable.
