The Role

You will lead and develop our engineering organization, helping teams operate with greater clarity, accountability, and effectiveness.

Your mission is to ensure Engineering runs reliably today while building the foundation for future growth. You will help the team deliver predictably, raise quality and ownership, and connect engineering decisions closely to customer and business needs. You will shape the evolution of our AI-assisted software development lifecycle, helping Engineering embrace new ways of building software while maintaining quality, reliability, and speed.

You will work closely with Product, Machine Learning, Clinical and QA/Regulatory teams.

Build and strengthen the engineering team

• Lead, coach, and develop engineers

• Create a culture of accountability, trust, and continuous improvement

• Help attract, hire, and retain exceptional talent

Create structure and clarity

• Establish clear ownership, responsibilities, and ways of working

• Improve planning, prioritization, and execution

• Help teams focus on the highest-impact work

Build a reliable engineering organization

• Increase predictability and transparency of delivery

• Ensure issues and risks are surfaced early

• Create an environment where teams consistently deliver high-quality outcomes

Develop people and future leaders

• Provide coaching, feedback, and career development

• Support individual growth and leadership development

• Raise the overall capability of the engineering organization, including AI-assisted software development lifecycles

Strengthen cross-functional collaboration

• Improve alignment between Engineering, Product, Clinical, Regulatory, and Commercial teams

• Remove organizational friction and communication gaps

• Help engineering stay closely connected to customer and business needs

What You Bring

• Experience leading and developing software engineering teams

• Strong coaching, mentoring, and people management skills

• A track record of building high-performing teams

• Experience improving execution, delivery, and organizational effectiveness

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• A software engineering background with sufficient technical credibility to work effectively with senior engineers

• A pragmatic, hands-on approach and a strong sense of ownership

• A strong ownership mindset and willingness to take responsibility beyond the boundaries of Engineering.
