Senior Web Tracking Analyst (m/f/x)

What you can expect from us...

• Work in the central data team, alongside data and analytical engineers, acting as the bridge between business needs and technical implementation
• Continuously develop and implement our web and app tracking (Snowplow Analytics) in collaboration with stakeholders
• Take ownership of the design and specification of our data layer
• Support product and engineering teams with implementation, ensuring reliable and meaningful tracking data
• Work directly with complex, cross-silo data: Including web/app user data, monetization/revenue streams, content performance and other business metrics
• Support colleagues in analyzing and interpreting data
• Drive the development of dashboards and reporting that empower teams across BurdaForward to make data-informed decisions
• Act as a strategic sparring partner for stakeholders - challenge assumptions, identify opportunities, and frame problems analytically

What we would expect from you...

• 4–6+ years of hands-on experience in digital analytics solutions such as Snowplow, Google or Adobe Analytics
• Experience in designing and implementing complex tracking concepts for analyzing user interactions on websites and apps
• Strong understanding of the importance of data quality and skills in debugging methods
• Proficiency in SQL and Reporting/BI tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Superset)
• Understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, and analytics engineering practices
• Experience working with cross-functional product teams, ideally in a digital media or online business environment
• Fluent in both written and spoken German and English
