Integrated Version Planning Manager (d/m/w) AIRBUS

As the Integrated Version Planning Manager (d/m/w) , based in Hamburg's vibrant Finkenwerder district, you will work closely within the A320 Program Management team. In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in ensuring Airbus delivers on-time commitments, balancing commercial requirements with operational capabilities, and maintaining robust planning structures for end-to-end programs. Step into a role at the crossroads of engineering, project management, and configuration management, and be part of initiatives that aim to shape the future of the aerospace industry.
- Contribute to Airbus’s on-time delivery commitments by preparing and controlling the Integrated Programme Planning.
- Monitor and manage deviations while optimizing financial outcomes for maximum impact.
- Balance commercial demands with operational capabilities across production, engineering, procurement, and configuration management.
- Establish and update Integrated Version Planning for Head of Version (HoV) and other Versions of Interest (VoI).
- Represent Integrated Planning in customer-focused teams and cross-functional projects.
- Play a crucial role in recovery and reduction initiatives targeting lead times across programs.
- Contribute to the alignment between contractual obligations and delivery feasibility.
We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented candidate ready to bring their expertise to a fast-paced, collaborative environment in Hamburg. A solid foundation in engineering and project management principles is essential, as is the ability to work systematically and communicate effectively. Here’s what you need to succeed:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
- Professional experience in configuration management, manufacturing engineering, production planning, or project management.
- Prior exposure to Airbus-specific planning tools is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in German and English; knowledge of French is advantageous.
- The ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and think strategically about complex problems.
- A structured and results-oriented approach with excellent organizational skills.
- A high degree of flexibility, including the ability to work occasional Saturdays and engage in monthly European travel if needed.
