Project Manager (m/w/d)

The Bid Management department (as part of the CPX organisation) is responsible for developing competitive, value-driven project proposals and construction quotes, supporting sales activities, and ensuring commercially sound project solutions. The team acts as the key interface between Sales / Customer and Project Execution to optimize project outcomes and maximize business value. The respective position is part of the "Value Engineering & new products" team.

Responsibilities:

The Project Manager (m/f/d), Value Engineering and New Product, is part of the Construction organization and is responsible for ensuring optimized project planning, stakeholder alignment, and the successful delivery of high-impact solutions. The role acts as a functional leader and trusted advisor within the Bid Management and Value Engineering domain. It is also responsible for monitoring and analyzing market trends and competitor activities, defining appropriate actions, and ensuring Vestas' continued competitiveness.

Project Leadership & Execution

• Lead VE & NP projects across the region, ensuring alignment with strategic goals
• Own and manage strategic initiatives from idea to execution
• Drive planning, budgeting, and milestone tracking during the development
• Ensure project outcomes are realized through risk analysis and mitigation

Strategic Development & Innovation

• Develop and evaluate potential ideas, projects, and processes to meet construction needs
• Apply specialist skills creatively to solve key construction challenges
• Anchor a main category (area of expertise) and develop guidelines supporting Bid Management

Cross-Functional & Stakeholder Collaboration

• Ensure effective collaboration within NCE Construction and with Global Construction and VPS
• Act as the single point of contact for VE topics
• Manage internal and external stakeholders

Leadership & Mentoring

• Act as a functional lead and sparring partner for Project Managers
• Lead cross-functional task forces for technically complex 'Potentials'

Qualifications:

• Degree in Engineering, Business Engineering, or related field
• Several years of experience in project management, ideally in wind energy construction
• Fluent in English and German
