Meet your Team: Rewarded Solutions

Our Rewarded Solutions team develops the technology behind adjoe's innovative rewarded engagement products that serve over 57 million daily mobile users.

The team’s tech stack consists of three major components: native Android and iOS SDKs written in Java/Kotlin and Swift handling complex engagement flows; widely customizable offerwall applications built with React TypeScript; and a highly performant Golang backend hosted on AWS that processes millions of events hourly. Our system matches each game with its ideal users, delivering rewards optimized for satisfaction through data processed via AWS Athena, Kafka, Spark, S3, and MySQL.

As a Working Student - Quality Assurance, you will support our team in ensuring that the solutions we deliver meet their intended purpose. You will help verify requirements, assist in finding and tracking bugs, and contribute to validating documentation for new features. This is a perfect opportunity to gain hands-on experience in software testing and see how modern software products are built and maintained.

• Support Manual Testing: Assist the team by manually testing new application features (for both mobile and web) following existing test plans and checklists.
• Bug Reporting: Learn how to clearly and effectively identify, document, and report bugs you discover using our bug-tracking tools.
• Learn Test Automation: Get exposure to our test automation frameworks. You will start by helping to modify and update existing automated tests under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Documentation: Help review and verify user guides and other relevant documents to ensure new features are clear and understandable.
• Communicate & Collaborate: Work closely with developers and other QA team members to understand requirements and report your findings.
• Test Management: Use our test management tools to execute test cases and track your results.
• Learn the Domain: Actively learn about our products and business to understand what you are testing and why it matters.

• Education: You are currently enrolled as a student (Bachelor's or Master's) in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a similar technical field.
• Mindset: You have a curious and analytical mindset with a natural talent for finding issues. You have a strong attention to detail and a passion for quality.
• Technical Interest: You have a basic understanding of how software is built (perhaps from university projects) and are eager to learn about testing web applications, mobile apps (Android/iOS), and APIs.
• Experience: No prior professional experience is required! Any experience from internships, personal projects, or university courses related to software development or testing is a big plus.
• Communication: You have good verbal and written communication skills in English (our team language).
• Organisation: You are reliable, self-organized, and able to manage your tasks alongside your university studies.
• Nice to have: You have a general knowledge of test case writing.
• Nice to have: You have experience in using Jira and Testmo.
