Located in the vibrant Hanseatic city of Hamburg, our campus is home to around 730 children and young people, from nursery through to the German Abitur, within an international, German-English learning community. Our state-recognised secondary school (Gymnasium), attended by approximately 255 students, combines the Hamburg state curriculum with bilingual education, high academic standards and an open-minded, internationally focused school culture. Your Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned and competency-based Geography lessons that encourage critical thinking, creativity and individual learning pathways
• Regularly assess and reflect on students' learning and progress, applying modern pedagogical approaches to inspire curiosity and enthusiasm for Geography
• Contribute fresh ideas and innovative teaching concepts, integrate digital learning tools effectively and continuously develop your teaching practice
• Support and guide students and their parents with empathy, openness and an understanding of individual strengths, needs and challenges
• Actively engage in continuing professional development (CPD), strengthening your subject expertise and pedagogical practice while sharing new ideas and approaches with colleagues

Your Profile

• Certified training as a Secondary teacher with a Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree in Geography, a Certificate of Education or a QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• Ideally, some classroom teaching experience following completion of your teacher training
• English at C2 level and ideally a good command of German for everyday use, together with enthusiasm for working in an international team
• A genuine passion for Geography and the ability to inspire and motivate students
• A keen interest in modern teaching methods and contributing to the continuous development of teaching and learning
• A strong commitment to personalised learning and enthusiasm for our bilingual educational approach
