HYROX is a global sports event series that combines running and functional fitness training in a unique race format. Founded in Germany in 2017, HYROX has evolved into a worldwide fitness movement with events across five continents, attracting tens of thousands of athletes every season.

As our Freelance Brand Designer (m/f/d) , you will be a key driver of our global identity. You are a conceptual thinker brought on to further develop, evolve, and elevate the core HYROX brand and its growing sub-brands. Working closely with our Design Team and our global Brand and Marketing Team, you will balance big-picture visual strategy with rapid, day-to-day asset execution. If you bring a fresh perspective, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have the availability to dive straight into our brand evolution, this is your match!

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Brand & Sub-Brand Evolution: Act as a creative force to further conceptualize, refine, and develop the visual identity of existing HYROX sub-brands, expanding our global design language.
• Concept to Execution: Seamlessly bridge the gap between large-scale conceptual branding work and fast-paced, day-to-day asset execution for both digital/online platforms and live on-site event branding.
• Creative Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with the Design Team to align on global design projects, brainstorm new creative perspectives, and ensure visual consistency across all touchpoints.
• Cross-Functional Support: Partner closely with global Marketing and Brand Managers to understand their project requirements and deliver high-impact, on-brand creative solutions under tight deadlines.

• Strong Communicator: You are open, proactive, and highly collaborative, making it easy for you to align with different internal teams
• Fast-Paced Adaptability: You feel comfortable in a high-energy, fast-paced environment and can handle shifting priorities with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Design Fundamentals: You have a solid understanding of design software (such as Adobe Creative Suite or Figma), a keen eye for layout, typography, and visual storytelling, and a passion for sports and youth culture.
• Location: Hamburg, Germany
• Language: english (C-Level), german is a plus
