As Senior Economist, you will take ownership of bulwiengesa's macroeconomic forecasting products and continuously develop our forecasting methodology.

How your role would look like:

• Product ownership for our macroeconomic real estate forecasts
• Further development of the German Property Index (GPI)
• Responsibility for the Housing Demand Forecast
• Development of new forecasting models and methodologies
• Analysis of macroeconomic trends and capital markets
• Assessment of interest rate, inflation, financing and economic developments
• Preparation of market outlooks, reports and research publications
• Close collaboration with Research, Data Science and Product teams
• Representing bulwiengesa in presentations, webinars and client meetings (secondary focus)

What you need to succeed:

• Master's degree (or higher) in Economics or a related discipline
• At least 5 years of professional experience in macroeconomic research, capital markets or economic forecasting
• Strong knowledge of macroeconomics and international capital markets
• Experience in developing economic forecasts and quantitative models
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Fluency in German and English
• Knowledge of the German real estate market
• Basic understanding of real estate valuation
• Experience with Python, R or similar analytical tools
