We are looking for a motivated and solution-oriented team player (f/m/d) with a flair for individual customer requirements and a strong hands-on mentality. As a Senior Cloud Consultant - DevOps , you will play an important role in the implementation of complex cloud projects and take responsibility for the technical architecture and implementation of various cloud solutions for our customers with a primary focus on migration topics.
  • Technical consulting and conception: You will comprehensively advise our customers on all technical aspects of cloud solutions, including infrastructure, security, scalability, and performance. You will develop innovative and scalable cloud architectures that meet the specific requirements of our customers.
  • Pre-sales, customer acquisition, and migration scoping: You will support the sales team in scoping and estimating migration efforts, preparing migration proposals, and demonstrating our migration expertise to customers. You will inspire potential customers with your technical know-how and your enthusiasm for cloud modernization.
  • Implementation and execution of migrations: You will lead and implement migration projects, including the setup and automation of landing zones, data migration, and application migration. You will ensure the stability, performance, and security of migrated workloads and support the cutover to production environments.
  • Knowledge transfer and training: You will share your cloud expertise with your colleagues and external participants in workshops and training courses. You will contribute to the continuous development of the team and the internal cloud competence.

Your profile:

  • Solid technical know-how: You have a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in computer science, engineering or another relevant STEM field. You have at least two years of experience in the IT industry, ideally with a focus on cloud technologies.
  • DevOps and SRE skills: You have proven experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, AWS CDK). You are familiar with SRE practices and cloud-native tools for monitoring, logging, and alerting (e.g., AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana).
  • Database migration: You have hands-on experience with migrating databases to cloud-native solutions such as AWS RDS or Aurora, and understand the challenges of data integrity and minimal downtime.
  • Container technologies: You have practical experience migrating and operating containerized workloads with Kubernetes (EKS) or AWS ECS/Fargate.
  • Project management experience: You have experience in managing IT projects and are familiar with agile methods such as Scrum or Kanban. Ideally, you are able to plan, organize and successfully complete complex projects.
  • Strong Communicator: You are comfortable expressing ideas in English and German and can explain technical topics in simple terms to different audiences. You enjoy working with others and building good relationships with customers or teammates.
  • Learning efficiency: You have excellent learning skills and are always motivated to learn new technologies and customer environments. You are curious and open to new challenges and are not afraid to learn new things.
