Treasury Manager Cash & Liquidity Management (m/f/d)

To support our rapid international scaling and place our global cash flows, banking relationships, and multi-currency transactions on a robust foundation, we are seeking a hands-on Treasury Manager Cash & Liquidity Management (m/f/d) to join our Finance leadership team at our global HQ in Hamburg. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will build our global treasury architecture from scratch - optimizing liquidity, mitigating FX risks, and automating international payment systems across all entities. YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Global Banking Management & Setup: Act as the central interface for all national and international banking partners, leading global bank account setups, signatory authorizations, and KYC processes across entities.
• Payment Systems & Governance: Design and implement centralized payment architecture (TMS, Payment Factory, ERP/Dynamics 365 integration), establishing strict governance, dual-control workflows, and security standards for global transactions.
• Liquidity Management & Cash Pooling: Oversee global cash positioning to guarantee multi-currency liquidity for international events, while preparing and executing regional and global cash pooling structures.
• FX Risk Management & Hedging: Identify foreign exchange (FX) exposures across international event revenues and expenses, developing and executing tailored hedging strategies to mitigate currency volatility (USD, GBP, EUR, AED, etc.).
• Rolling Forecasts & CFO Sparring: Partner closely with Group Controlling to build short- to mid-term liquidity forecasts, providing regular treasury dashboards, KPI reports, and decision papers directly to the CFO.
• FinTech & Process Automation: Evaluate, select, and integrate modern payment gateways, merchant acquiring solutions, and FinTech partners to streamline international event checkout and payment flows.

YOUR PROFILE

• Professional Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Corporate Treasury, Transaction Banking, or Treasury Management within an international, fast-paced scaling corporate or event/sports environment.
• Education: Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Banking, or a related field with strong corporate finance fundamentals.
• FX & Treasury Expertise: Proven track record in building cash pooling frameworks, managing multi-currency liquidity, and executing operational FX hedging strategies.
• System & ERP Proficiency: Deep knowledge of modern Treasury Management Systems (TMS), global payment rails, and ERP integrations (ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365), along with advanced Excel skills.
• Analytical & Hands-On Ownership: Sharp analytical mindset combined with a proactive, pragmatic drive to build treasury processes completely from scratch and present at executive level.
• Language Skills: English and German (C-Level written and spoken)
