At 50,000 square meters, our new facility in Wilhelmsburg in Hamburg’s South is not just a warehouse - it is Airbus’ largest warehouse worldwide and a global hub for Satair.

We are currently looking for a Process and Performance Manager (d/f/m) to join our Outbound Team in Wilhelmsburg (Hamburg).

You will join a multinational team with a strong, collaborative spirit that serves as the link between Satair’s subcontractors and our internal stakeholders. Our primary goal is to constantly seek for improvements in the warehouse performance and thereby enhance the customer experience. We are looking for a professional who can contribute with their ideas and expertise to a team that values both results and a positive, supportive atmosphere. You will be reporting to the Head of Outbound Global HUB.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM

• Drive Performance & Accountability: Proactively monitor and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to identify performance gaps and ensure operational excellence.
  
• Lead Stakeholder Governance : Establish and maintain a robust governance structure to effectively coordinate and align all internal and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication.
  
• Implement Corrective Action Plans: Define, implement, and follow up on recovery and improvement measures based on in-depth performance analysis and reporting.
  
• Ensure Supplier Compliance: Oversee the implementation of and adherence to Airbus standards across all subcontracting companies, conducting regular monitoring and audits to guarantee quality and compliance.
  
• Manage Cross-Functional Projects: Lead and coordinate complex projects with diverse internal and external stakeholders, ensuring milestones are met on time and within scope.
  
• Steer Contractual Evolution : Identify the need for and trigger contractual changes with subcontractors and partners to better reflect business needs and performance objectives.
  

ABOUT YOU

Equipped with a degree in business administration, logistics (or similar) paired with professional experience ideally in leading warehouse operations (or a comparable role), we are looking for a team player with the following experience, skills and mindset:

• Drive Operational Excellence: Leverage your hands-on experience in logistics to optimize processes, ensure efficiency, and excel in a dynamic operational setting.
  
• Achieve KPI Targets: Utilize a data-driven approach to manage and report on Key Performance Indicators, consistently meeting or exceeding operational goals.
  
• Lead Subcontractor Performance: Effectively select, manage, and steer third-party logistics partners to ensure alignment with our quality standards and business objectives.
  
• Take Ownership of Outcomes: Demonstrate a profound sense of responsibility and accountability, proactively identifying challenges and independently driving solutions from start to finish.
  
• Cultivate Strategic Partnerships: Build, nurture, and manage key business relationships with suppliers, clients, and internal teams to foster long-term collaboration and success.
  
• Masterful Negotiation & Communication: Employ exceptional communication and negotiation skills to resolve conflicts, secure favorable terms, and represent our company with professionalism.
  
• Work with Resilience & Autonomy: Leverages personal resilience and works with a high degree of autonomy to solve problems and achieve goals
