Your tasks with us

• Developing modern software solutions in Python and JavaScript
• Development, maintenance and further development of the company-wide data architecture (including ETL processes, data bricks, SQL) as well as the system architecture (e.g. webhooks, integrations).
• Planning, implementation and automation of build, test and deployment processes (CI/CD) using YAML workflows, GitHub and AWS.
• Ensuring high data and software quality, including the implementation of standards in the areas of data quality, governance, security, and compliance.
• Close collaboration with data scientists, analysts and specialist departments.
• Monitoring, error analysis and performance optimization
• Conducting requirements engineering from requirements gathering to technical specification.
• Regular provision of second and third-level support

This is what you bring with you

• Completed studies in computer science or a comparable qualification
• Professional experience in software development in a professional environment
• Excellent knowledge of software development with Python (JavaScript optional)
• Practical experience with SQL, data integration, and workflow orchestration
• Ideally, experience with Databricks or comparable cloud data platforms.
• Experience in developing scalable data models for analytical and operational systems
• Confident handling of quality assurance methods such as clean code, unit tests, or test automation
• Experience in the deployment, operation, and maintenance of software solutions
• Experience with modern development environments, e.g., Visual Studio Code
• Solid knowledge of version control, especially with Git
• Experience in using project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar systems)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent German and English skills, both spoken and written.
• Strong communication skills and interest in collaborating with internal and external clients
• Teamwork skills, structured work habits and a high degree of initiative
