(Senior) Backend Developer (f/m/d)

As a Senior Go Backend Developer you will join a team of highly committed developers, further developing our tracking platform justtrack by bringing in a lot of own ideas.

At justtrack , we build a SaaS business that provides app and game publishers an attractive toolset to handle their entire global marketing growth process. Starting from managing, analyzing, and automating marketing processes justtrack enables gathering deep mobile product insights.

Joining the Team , you will have the opportunity to create state of the art microservices from scratch. Moreover, you can dig into well established services that unify various external APIs and further refine according to all the small variants. Our team's mission is providing easy and efficient flows to automate and scale out marketing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• You bring fresh ideas to further improve our robust and reliability-first Golang backend (separated over several, globally located data programming centers)
• Take a leading role in designing and implementing new microservices
• Collect and unify all the minor variants of APIs and user flows out there
• Constantly improve our existing code and system architecture
• Work with experts from different technological backgrounds and countries, learn from your highly experienced colleagues and share your knowledge
• Collaborate with all kinds of roles in our cross-functional teams

How the optimal candidate may look like:

• 4-5 years experience of backend or cloud software development. Mid level: 2+ years experience
• Expert in one backend language: Go, Java, PHP, Python, NodeJS. Mid level: 1+ year(s)
• Willingness to learn go
• Good understanding of software architecture, distributed systems and application design
• Basic understanding of IaC tools like terraform
• Team Player, Problem-Solver, Task Owner
• Optional: Familiarity with frontend frameworks like React, Angular, Svelte
• Optional: Experience with AWS services like DynamoDB, ECS, Kafka and SQS
