For Lufthansa Technik AG-a global leader in maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services for the aviation industry-we are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager for Technical Infrastructure (m/f/d) to join the team in Frankfurt am Main as soon as possible.

This position is to be filled on a temporary staffing (contract) basis for the period from February 1, 2027, to January 31, 2029.

In this key role, you will take responsibility for complex projects within the realm of technical facility management. You will develop forward-looking solutions in areas such as HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) systems, utility infrastructure, fire protection, and building operations, while working closely with internal stakeholders, external specialist planners, and service providers.

Your Responsibilities
Independent management and coordination of projects within Technical Building Management (TBM)
Initiation, planning, and implementation of technical projects in areas such as: HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) systems, plumbing/sanitary systems, fire protection, and general building infrastructure
Preparation and support for tender processes regarding planning and project management services
Drafting of scopes of work (specifications), as well as soliciting and evaluating bids
Coordination and oversight of external project managers, specialist planners, and service providers
Commercial project management, including budget, schedule, and cost control
Preparation and maintenance of relevant project and cost data within corporate systems (e.g., Clarity)
Ensuring timely project execution and successful handover to the Facility Management team

Your Profile
A completed university degree (e.g., from a university of applied sciences or a technical university) in a field such as Architecture, Civil Engineering, Facility Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a comparable discipline
Several years of professional experience in technical management construction, infrastructure, or facility management projects
Proven track record in successfully complex managing projects
Strong proficiency in project management methodologies and processes
Solid understanding of business/commercial principles and budget management
Excellent command of MS Office
Fluent German and a good command of English (at least B1 level)
A structured, analytical, and solution-oriented approach to work
Strong communication skills and a confident demeanor when interacting with internal and external stakeholders
