Job Description:

We are looking for a Project Manager (d/f/m) Building & Construction to join our Workplace, Environment, Health & Safety team in Hamburg Fuhlsbüttel.

You will be part of our multinational Workplace, Environment, Health & Safety team - a powerhouse of Facility Managers, Health & Safety experts, and sustainability enthusiasts. Together, we are driving the transformation toward a safe, healthy, and green workplace for all Satair colleagues globally. That's where you come in: As our building and construction expert (d/f/m), you will manage international projects, bridge gaps across borders, and travel occasionally to make things happen on the ground.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM

As a Project Manager (d/f/m) for Building & Construction with facility management elements, you will be the driving force behind our infrastructure evolution. Your mission includes:

• Lead & Manage: Taking full ownership of diverse building, construction, and facility management projects in alignment with Airbus standards.
• Ensure Excellence: Guaranteeing process coherence and continuous improvement by working closely with local and global interfaces.
• Collaborate Globally: Acting as a key connector within the "Airbus Family," collaborating with Satair colleagues worldwide to achieve high-impact results.
• Project Management: Ensuring adequate relationship with internal customers (Airbus / Satair divisions, sites, plants, subsidiaries, companies, mergers & acquisitions), with internal partners (Finance, Procurement, ...) and externals (local authorities, landlords, developers, general partners).

ABOUT YOU

• Educational Background: You hold a degree in Architecture, Building & Construction, Civil/Industrial Engineering, Facility Management or similar.
• Professional Experience: Proven, extensive experience in leading complex projects, ideally in an international environment.
• Technical Expertise: Interdisciplinary knowledge in construction planning and execution (above ground), building technology, and cost/time management.
• Methodical Expertise: You possess systematic and results-oriented organizational capabilities, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently.
• Regulatory Savvy: A solid understanding of workplace safety standards and legal obligations.
• Supplier Management: Experience in coordinating and managing external partners and contractors.
• Communication Pro: Excellent presentation and conflict management skills, with the capacity to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Customer Centricity: A high degree of responsiveness and a strong focus on finding the best solutions for our customers.
• Adaptability: High learning agility and the willingness to travel occasionally to our international sites.
• Languages: Fluency in German and English (advanced level) is essential for this global role.
