Your mission

• Own and manage shipzero’s financial operations, from day-to-day tasks to strategic financial insights
• Prepare investor reports and detailed financial analyses to support strategic decision-making , and board discussions
• Collaborate closely with tax advisors and external partners to ensure compliance and smooth financial processes
• Prepare audit- ready monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements , ensuring transparency and accuracy for all stakeholders
• C ontinuously improve operational bookkeeping, including accounts payable , receivable , a nd customer invoicing , with a strong focus on automation
• Actively contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning
• Drive improvements in financial structures and processes to support shipzero’s growth journey

Your profile

• Degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field
• 3+ years of professional experience in finance, accounting, auditing, or a similar role (B2B SaaS experience is a plus)
• Strong understanding of financial statements, bookkeeping principles, and basic tax regulations
• High sense of ownership with a structured, reliable, and hands-on approach
• Analytical mindset with the ability to translate numbers into actionable insights and recommendations
• Proficient in spreadsheets and financial tools; experience with accounting software is a plus
• Fluent in both German and English
