Working Student Accounting (m/f/d)

Job Description

As part of the Accounting team, our Non-Merchandise Payables Team is responsible for accounts payable management for non-trade goods and ensures proper accounting in accordance with HGB and IFRS. In addition, the team actively drives the digitalization and optimization of accounts payable processes.

As a Working Student Accounting (m/f/d) , you will support the handling of business transactions in accounts payable and general ledger accounting (non-merchandise). You will work closely with a young, dynamic team and contribute to the continuous improvement of our processes.

Responsibilities

• Processing various accounts payable transactions
• Reviewing and coding incoming invoices in Coupa
• Support with processing the invoice inboxes
• Processing and reconciling open items
• Close collaboration with internal departments to ensure a smooth invoice approval process
• Communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders via our email system Zendesk
• Supporting projects focused on process optimization within accounting

Requirements

• Enrolled student in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a comparable field
• Confident use of MS Office
• Independent, proactive working style and very good communication skills
• Good command of English
• Initial experience in accounting is an advantage
• Knowledge of SAP and/or Coupa is a plus
