Senior Fullstack Engineer (f/m/x)

Your mission

• Work in a cross-functional team, combining your expertise with your team members to ensure rapid feature development, highest automation, and a great product.
• Tackle challenges holistically, contributing to backend and frontend development based on your strengths.

Backend Development:

• Implement API development best practices, with a preference for familiarity with GraphQL.
• Integrate and consume REST APIs for back-end communication.
• Collaborate with UX and UI design specialists to ensure back-end solutions support innovative and user-oriented ideas.
• Utilize Docker, and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration is a plus.
• Ensure efficient back-end processes and distributed systems.

Frontend Development:

• Implement innovative ideas and user-oriented solutions with UX and UI design specialists.
• Utilize and enhance skills in CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Develop and maintain applications using Vue or Nuxt and at least one responsive framework (e.g., Tailwind).
• Ensure seamless integration with REST and GraphQL APIs for front-end communication.

Your profile

• You have 5+ years experience as a software engineer, with a focus on full-stack development.
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (preferred) or equivalent bootcamp experience with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience.
• Interest in tackling challenges holistically and extending expertise across both backend and frontend.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Stronger expertise in either backend or frontend development, with a willingness to work across the full stack.
• Good communication skills in English and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Backend Skills:

• Proficiency in API development and integration, ideally with GraphQL.
• Fluent in Python, experience in Go is a plus
• Practical understanding of distributed systems.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (nice to have).

Frontend Skills:

• Proficiency in CSS, JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience with Vue or Nuxt and at least one responsive framework (e.g., Tailwind).

This is not a remote only position, we offer you a flexible hybrid model here in Hamburg, Germany - working from home on Mondays & Fridays, coming to the office on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday!
